Rodent Control

There are two species of rats that frequent the northwest. They are the Roof Rat and the Norway Rat as well as the house and field mouse.

Your technician will carry out a thorough inspection on the interior and exterior of your home and then will recommend a course of action.

One of the first signs of a rodent infestation are scratching noises from the walls and ceiling and floor voids. These signs are not always caused by rodents and could be any number of other pests including squirrels, bats or even yellow jackets. Doing your own inspection and disturbing a nest of yellow-jackets would be an unpleasant (and painful) experience so it is best left to the professionals

Get Them Out And Keep Them Out

  • Rodent Identification

It is always a good idea to know what rodents you are dealing with.During the inspection the technician will note all areas of rodent activity and food sources to come up with an effective plan to eradicate the infestation

  • Entry Points

During the inspection your technician will walk around the exterior of the house and identify any entry points that rodents may be using to gain access to your home. They will also advise of any conducive conditions that may be attracting the rodents.

  • Exclude

Once the entry points have been identified the technician will use various materials including steel screen, copper mesh, concrete filler and wood to close up all points of entry.

  • Control

When all points have been excluded your technician will set traps in the crawlspace and attic to catch any remaining rodents in the house. He will install rodent bait stations on the perimeter of the house to control any rodent population on the exterior of the house.
